Pinelap and timber fencing in Perth
A practical, warmer-looking option for Perth boundaries. We use treated pine, set the posts securely in concrete and brace the fence properly so it stays straight.

Timber fencing built to stay straight
Timber fencing is a popular choice when you want something that feels more natural than steel. It also works well for longer boundaries where you want to keep the cost down.
The way it’s built makes a big difference. We set the posts at the right depth, brace the ends and corners properly and keep the palings evenly overlapped so the finished fence looks straight from the street.

Repairs
Fence repairs in Perth
A snapped post, loose sheet or dropped gate doesn’t always mean you need a new fence. We repair damaged sections where it makes sense, and if the whole run is on its way out, we’ll tell you rather than patching the same problem twice.

Asbestos fence removal in Perth
If you have an older grey fibre cement sheet fence, it may contain asbestos. Don’t pull it down, cut it or drill into it yourself. We can arrange proper removal and disposal before installing your new Colorbond fence. Ask us when we quote and we’ll include the removal in the price.

Timber fencing FAQs
How long does a timber fence last?
A properly built treated pine fence will give you many years before it needs attention. Usually, the first thing to fail is a post at ground level rather than the palings. If that happens, we can replace the individual post without pulling the whole fence down.
Do I have to oil or paint it?
No. Left untreated, timber will naturally weather to a soft silver-grey, which plenty of people prefer. If you want to keep it closer to its original colour, oiling it every couple of years will help.
Is timber cheaper than Colorbond?
Usually a little, especially on a long run. The difference can narrow over time if repairs are needed, so we can quote both options and let you compare the actual cost for your boundary.
