Pool fencing is the one job where looking good is not enough. There are rules about the height, the gaps, the gate and what can be climbed near it, and your local council inspects the finished barrier.
We build to those rules from the start, which means checking what sits near the fence as well as the fence itself. A retaining wall, a garden bed or an air conditioner in the wrong spot can fail an otherwise perfect barrier.

Pool fencing FAQs
Does the council have to inspect it?
Yes. Pool barriers in WA are inspected, and the rules are updated from time to time, so confirm the current requirements with your council. We build to the standard that applies when we quote.
Glass or tubular?
Glass if you want the view of the pool from the house and do not mind cleaning it. Tubular or flat top steel if you want something cheaper and lower maintenance. Both pass when built properly.
Can a retaining wall be part of the barrier?
Sometimes, and it depends on the height and what sits on either side of it. This is exactly the sort of thing worth having us look at on site, because getting it wrong means failing the inspection.
